Information Virelo stores
Virelo stores your scenes, selected sources, audio settings, and related studio preferences locally on your Mac. Recordings are saved only to the location you choose. Virelo does not operate an account system, analytics service, advertising system, or Virelo-owned server that collects this information.
Live streaming and Twitch
When you choose to go live, Virelo sends the video and audio sources you selected directly to Twitch. Twitch processes the stream and related network information under Twitch's own terms and privacy policy. Your Twitch stream key is used to connect the stream while Virelo is open. Virelo does not save the stream key to its studio configuration or send it to a Virelo-owned server.
macOS permissions
Depending on the features you choose, Virelo may ask macOS for access to a camera or capture card, microphone, screen or window capture, and system audio. Virelo uses this access only to preview, record, monitor, or stream the sources you select. You can review or revoke these permissions in macOS System Settings.
Retention and deletion
Your recordings remain where you saved them until you delete them. Your studio configuration remains in Virelo's local app data until you remove that data or uninstall the app and its data. Because Virelo does not create a remote account or profile, there is no Virelo cloud account to delete.
Children
Virelo does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not contain advertising, tracking, public social features, or an account system.
Changes to this policy
If Virelo's data practices change, this policy will be updated before those changes are released. The effective date above identifies the current version.
