This policy covers the current Sidequest iPhone app and its Pocket Sidekick Home Screen widget. Sidequest has no account, login, advertising, analytics, tracking, or developer-operated online service. Built by Magnus does not collect data from the app or widget.

Quest history, XP, companion choice, room state, artifacts, daily quest state, and first-launch settings are stored locally using Apple’s on-device preferences system. Sidequest does not transmit this information to Built by Magnus.

The Pocket Sidekick widget keeps its current tiny quest and mood in the widget’s own local storage. It does not send that information to Built by Magnus and does not share or synchronize the main game’s progress.

Sidequest does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health, or motion access. The current app has no developer-operated server and does not use advertising or analytics services. Its artwork, introduction, music, and sound effects are bundled with the app.

Because Built by Magnus does not collect app data or operate Sidequest accounts, there is no server-side profile to access or delete. Sidequest’s device data is managed through the app, iPhone storage, and Apple’s device backup controls. Deleting the app may remove locally stored progress.

If you email support, Built by Magnus receives only the information you choose to include and uses it to answer your request. Sidequest does not create or send that message for you.

If Sidequest’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before those changes are released.
