Data handled by the app
POV Relay processes live video from connected glasses and audio from the active iPhone or Bluetooth microphone. This media is transmitted directly to the RTMPS server configured by you.
The server address and selected service are stored locally. Your stream key is stored in the iOS Keychain and is sent only to the destination you selected to establish the broadcast.
Third parties
POV Relay uses Meta's Wearables Device Access Toolkit to communicate with supported glasses. Meta may process device and integration information under its own terms and privacy policy. POV Relay opts out of optional Device Access Toolkit analytics where supported.
Your selected streaming provider receives the broadcast and associated connection information under its own terms. POV Relay is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Ray-Ban, YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook.
Retention and deletion
We maintain no user accounts or developer-operated database. Remove the app to delete its local destination settings. Because iOS Keychain items may persist across reinstall, rotate or revoke your key at your streaming provider when needed.
Permissions
Camera access receives video from supported glasses. Microphone access adds audio. Bluetooth, local-network, and external-accessory capabilities connect to the glasses. Leaving the foreground ends capture and broadcasting.
Children and changes
POV Relay is not directed to children under 13. Material policy changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
