Murmlet is not responding
Close and reopen Murmlet, then make sure iOS is up to date. Avoid deleting the app as a first step: progress and settings are stored locally and may not return unless Apple’s backup system preserved them.
Motion & Fitness or step rewards
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Motion & Fitness, then enable Fitness Tracking and Murmlet if shown. Reopen the app afterward. The permission is optional; without it, the game still works but cannot award the bonus Food and Activity Tokens tied to today’s steps.
Dynamic Island and Live Activity
The Dynamic Island companion appears only on supported iPhone models. Open Settings and choose Murmlet; on some iOS versions, choose Apps → Murmlet. Then allow Live Activities. If your iPhone does not have Dynamic Island, the main Murmlet game still works normally.
Apple Watch companion
Make sure the Watch is paired with your iPhone. In the iPhone Watch app, open My Watch, find Murmlet under Available Apps, and tap Install. Open Murmlet once on the iPhone, keep the devices nearby, then open Murmlet on the Watch.
Purchases and Restore Purchases
Second Flowerbed, Starlight Decor Pack, and Nightwing Conservatory are permanent non-consumable purchases. If one is missing, confirm the iPhone uses the Apple Account that made the purchase, open the Moon Market, and choose Restore Purchases. You will need a connection to Apple’s App Store.
Sound is missing
Tap the speaker button in Murmlet’s top status bar and raise the iPhone volume. Also check Silent Mode and any connected headphones or speakers. The same sound setting controls the first-launch introduction.
First-launch introduction
The short introduction is shown once and can be skipped. If its video or sound does not play, tap Skip and continue; the game and saved progress are unaffected. The question-mark button inside Murmlet opens the care tutorial whenever you need it.
