Help with iCloud connections, invitations, sending a signal, answering, and notifications.
Farsign is an iPhone app for exactly two people. Both people need to be signed into iCloud to create or join the private connection.
Confirm you are signed into iCloud on your iPhone and have an active internet connection. Reopen the invitation from the person who created the connection. If the invitation is no longer available, ask them to share it again.
In the night field, hold anywhere until the warm light gathers under your finger. Let go to fire it upward. There is no message to write and no send button.
Delivery depends on both devices' settings and connection. Check that both iPhones are online and signed into iCloud, then open Farsign again. Farsign does not promise a delivery time or guaranteed background delivery.
After “A Farsign arrived,” the app offers “Hold anywhere to answer.” Hold and release when you choose. Farsign never replies automatically.
Open iPhone Settings and check that notifications are allowed for Farsign. Notification delivery also depends on device settings and connection. A signal may still appear when you open the app.
There are no messages, chat thread, feed, read receipts, streaks, or signal history to maintain. Farsign is deliberately a moment, not an inbox.
Still quiet?
Include your Farsign version, iOS version, iPhone model, and the step that did not work. Do not send your Apple ID password or other account credentials.
