My role

Bring the shop’s personality online.

I work with the owners and barbers to turn the room’s real personalities into photos, video, campaigns, and copy. I built the website, an original browser game, and a native iOS app so the same identity carries from the shop to the screen.

Flying M Coffeehouse / Boise

Eight years curating the art wall.

I worked at Flying M from 2013 through 2024. For eight of those years, I curated the art wall: finding artists, coordinating shows, and helping their work meet an audience.

Valentine for AIDS

Art brought people together for a cause.

I coordinated Valentine for AIDS for five years, from 2015 through 2020.

That meant working with artists, coordinating their contributions, and helping present the work for the benefit. It was a different kind of creative production: a physical space, a shared purpose, and a lot of people to bring together.

Flying M’s 2020 event record documents the 27th annual benefit, with more than 250 local artists supporting SNAP of Boise.

Licensed creative work

Original work inside worlds people already know.

Since 2019, I have worked as a Topps sketch artist, creating hundreds of commissioned illustrations across licensed entertainment properties. The brief and the deadline are part of the work, alongside the drawing.

How I work

I like seeing an idea all the way through.

I’m comfortable starting with a loose brief and staying with it through the details of making, launching, and improving the work.

That can mean finding a brand’s voice, planning a campaign, writing the copy, or shooting and editing the content. It can also mean building the website, prototype, app, or interactive piece that the idea needs.

I stay involved after launch: listening, adjusting, and keeping things working.
